Original unplayed vinyl released in 1981 on Innocent Records. NON 005
The instrumentation consists of found objects and sythesizer. The sophisticated toms are actually small Chinese fans made of stretched silk, hit with a toy xylophone hammer; other percussion includes telephone books and table tops.
This was the follow up to 50 Synthesizer Greats although it is very different. Recorded somewhat secretly at night at the LaTrobe University 8-track studio, the pieces were built up track by track, with up to 30 individual layers of sound in some songs.
For a discussion of this record there is a review way back in Art & Text. Spring 1981 by Adrian Martin.
